The Faculty of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University, an educational institution that is a top choice in the field of fine arts and has pioneered the establishment of art as an active and widespread force in society through the creative individuals it has nurtured, has been cultivating, since 1983, contemporary, creative, and free-thinking individuals who embody universal values and who will contribute to both national and global culture through art. The Faculty comprises six departments: Graphic Design, Sculpture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Painting, and Ceramics and Glass—all of which have been conducting academic work since the Faculty’s founding—as well as the Department of Digital Game Design, established in March 2024. With the mission of training creative and research-oriented professionals for the digital game industry—which contributes to our country’s economy—the sixth department has defined our Faculty’s future vision under the slogan #FutureHacettepe. “Future Hacettepe” not only signifies that the future lies within Hacettepe University but also conveys the university’s commitment to shaping the future.
